Thank You . . .
Felix Johnson, Karlee Marie, Stephanie A. Taylor, and many others for tuning into my live video!
My Nuggets . . .
1) What is the jealousy rooted in? Is there something from your childhood that is causing this? When was the first time you felt jealous? Bring the Lord with you in those memories and ask Him to speak to you. The Lord will always speak with the Fruit of the Spirit and the Bible.
2) When jealousy is present, say out loud, “I do not partner with you!” Then bless the person and pray for them. If the person you are jealous with, have children, pray for their kids. If they have animals, pray for their animals.
3) Understand you are not alone, the disciples argued on who would be the greatest! Study the verses around this subject matter.
Mark 9:33-39
Mark 10:37-45
Matthew 18:1-5
Matthew 20:20-28
Luke 9:46-48
Luke 22:24-30
John 13:1-17
4) Remember, Jesus is the chief cornerstone and we are the bricks! We are a family.
Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:19-22
5) Remember, it does not matter who says it, it just needs to be said.
6) Become the “Servant Slave.”
7) Become the pink/black jockey from Seabiscuit. (Not green, I do not know what I was thinking, lol.) Here is a link to the final race.
8) Model the 4 living creatures in Ezekiel 1 and 10.
9) Be patient with yourself as you are working through the comparing and jealousy. Jesus is a very good shepherd and will handle your emotions with tenderness.
10) Have Jesus time FIRST, then Substack. Pray before you come on Substack too.
11) Set boundaries around Substack.
12) Even if what you are writing ministers to just one (or just Jesus), it is enough. You are loved!
*16:10 - Sometimes jealousy could be spiritual warfare and other times I think it is the flesh. 🩶
