Sam and Ashley
A poem by my friend . . .
Introduction đ
I have a friend and her name is Sam. I love her sooooo much. I started to teach her about poetry and she caught on so quickly. She came up with this poem and we wanted to share it with you all. I am soooo proud of her! She also designed this article as well. Great job Sam! -Ashley
The Poem
Mother pours a glass of milk
With the love of her heart
Kind hearts fly
When chairs are pushed in
I am crying with the flood of my tears
Because of dismissal of the structure of my house
The house is breaking down in pieces
We need to figure out how to fix it
Fundraiser? Baking sale?
Blood related family are helpful with positive skills
Like planting, sharing, and teaching about living skills
My stone beam heart is covered, hurt, by something
I donât know whatâs wrong with it
Itâs a mystery to figure it out
I mix up a cup, maybe it will help me fix everything up
It carries holy water, healer, salvation
I would feel lost if I did not have a parent
If I had a parent, I would feel humble, happy, and have love inside
God is always here to protect, shelter, love, and care about you
There are flowers of fragrances of all types
And trees of life
Meet God in the secret garden
*When I asked Sam what she meant by holy water she said, âbaptism.â đ

I love the cup that 'gets mixed' is of Jesus... holy water (baptism), healer, and salvation. I think it was profound that Sam took the phrase holy water and used it as representation of baptism. People at times forget about baptism, which is very important with the Christina faith! And that water, is indeed, set apart. Keep up the great work girl, love you! Ash
Sam đ Jesus Christ is with you and He loves you so much! It is so lovely to see people embracing their creativity. It is beautiful! đ¤ Keep going!
Blessings to you all! đ
